Water 2025 Grant—Ends  August  31st, 2009!

Lower South Platte Water Conservancy District

The District was awarded a Water 2025 Grant in 2004 by the United States Department of Interior.  The grant offers cost sharing to District members for the reimbursement of flow meters and power coefficient certifications for wells and totalizing flow meters, staff recorders and data loggers for all surface diversions. 

The grant will pay half of the cost of purchase and installation of these devices up to $900 (the grant will pay a maximum of $450 per device).  The grant began July 1st, 2004 and has been extended until August 31st,  2009.  Any member of the district who has or is planning on installing a flow meter, a staff recorder, or certifying a power coefficient during this time period can participate in the program. 

The $300,000 grant is offered on a first come first serve basis until all funds are exhausted or until the termination date of this grant.

Steps To Getting Reimbursement

1. Fill out the Pre-Application Form and Terms and Conditions and send to LSPWCD

2. After device installed or PCC certified, fill out Final Checklist and send it along with the Receipt to LSPWCD

3. LSPWCD will verify the device within the month

4. Applicant will receive reimbursement in the mail from LSPWCD once funds are received from the Bureau of Reclamation
