LSPWCD is an active member of the Colorado Water Congress (CWC). The LSPWCD General Manager serves on the board of directors of CWC and participates in the State Affairs and Colorado Water Stewardship committees. The Colorado Water Stewardship project was set up as a committee under CWC to advocate against the Public Trust Doctrine which if instituted would be in direct opposition to the Prior Appropriations Doctrine embedded in the Colorado Constitution.
Lower South Platte Water Conservancy District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Lower South Platte Water Conservancy District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
